Starfish Search are working with a non-profit organisation to recruit an Interim Head of Communications and Marketing. The focus of this role is to articulate the mission, vision and values of the organisation and to lead a successful Communications & Marketing strategy.

THE ROLE

You Will:

  • Work with Directors to ensure consistent messaging, high quality storytelling and a metric and data led approach, so decisions can be made in a well-informed way
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan around newsletters, marketing materials, social media and digital communications, and other communications outputs globally
  • Execute their digital and social strategy, using metrics and data to understand and improve reach and engagement
  • Lead on all print communications and collateral, developing where necessary
  • Maintain and develop relationships with new and traditional media

 

You Will Have:

  • A proven track record of executing an integrated communications and marketing strategy in a complex organisation
  • Experience of building and managing strategic stakeholder relationships in order to build reputation and influence in both a national and global context
  • A track record of developing and delivering impactful communications and digital strategies
  • An understanding of the non-profit sector and how it differs from other sectors
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to demonstrate collaboration, coaching and development of a team

 

It is running for a period of 8 – 9 months and offers a salary of c.£70,000.

The role is hybrid with two days in London.
