The Role
We are seeking an Executive Director of Operations to work within a national charity. The Executive Director of Operations will be responsible for leading the operations directorate to deliver high quality services with an emphasis on safeguarding.
You will have…
- Substantial experience of successful senior operational leadership in a similarly complex or large not for profit or public sector organisation
- Experience of designing and successfully delivering organisational objectives with a focus on performance and impact
- Experience of pre-empting or managing critical incidents and adverse events , demonstrating decision-making under pressure
- Significant experience of working with and reporting to Committees, Trustees, volunteers and external regulators and stakeholders
- Experience of being accountable for large budgets and obtaining external funding
- Well-developed people-management skills, with significant experience of successfully leading and motivating teams
