Starfish Search are working with a business growth and destination agency based in London, to recruit an Interim Director of Small Business Service Delivery. This is an operational leadership role, ensuring the highest standards of client service, continuous innovation and improvement, and oversight of reporting, data and compliance.
THE ROLE
You Will
- Establish a new team within the Small Business Directorate. They will have a key role in defining the strategic direction of the organisations work with small businesses
- With the Managing Director, develop a comprehensive strategy including objectives, KPIs and targets and lead the department to implement the strategy successfully
- Lead the Small Business Service Delivery department: inspire the team, set clear direction and accountability, ensure high performance, create a culture of continuous personal development
- Lead delivery of the concierge service, ensuring that it meets objectives in terms of client satisfaction, output volumes and outcomes for clients
- Lead the team to produce reporting to key stakeholders including the Greater London Authority and London Boroughs
You Will Have
- Senior leadership experience in a mission-driven environment
- An understanding of the issues facing small businesses in London
- Track record of designing and/or delivering a service for communities who face barriers to accessing public services
- Experience managing multi-million pound budgets and delivering programmes on time and on budget
- Experience of delivering large-scale client service across digital and in-person channels
This role reports to the Managing Director. It will run for a period of 6-months with an expected salary of £90,000 or a day-rate of £600 – £700.
