Starfish Search are working with a charity to recruit an Interim Director of Fundraising & Marketing. The focus of this role is to shape and deliver the strategic vision for the charity’s income generation and brand visibility.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Develop a comprehensive fundraising and marketing strategy, to deliver against the charity’s overall business objectives.
- Plan and deliver diverse fundraising streams including individual giving, corporate partnerships, trusts and foundations, legacy giving and major donors
- As a member of the Executive Board, work closely with other Directors; contribute to the development of strategy, planning and policy implementation
- Have overall leadership and management responsibility for all fundraising, marketing staff and volunteers
You Will Have:
- Demonstrable experience of generating income across a broad portfolio of fundraising disciplines, ideally in a large voluntary or not for profit sector organisation
- Proven track record implementing fundraising strategies for both existing and new fundraising projects
- Extensive experience in a senior position with demonstrable expertise leading, motivating and inspiring teams
- A sound understanding of current fundraising, marketing and branding issues within the voluntary sector
This role is for 9-12 months and is hybrid working – there is an expectation you will be in the office three days a week.
