Interim Director of Community

Starfish Search are working with a large health-care charity to recruit an Interim Director of Community. The focus of this role will be to lead on the delivery of high quality integrated adviser, helpline, and community services across the UK.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Embed structural changes designed to deliver the strategic aim of building on the quality and reach of their community services
- Lead and empower teams across the UK ensuring that they meet the diverse needs of communities
- Oversee the implementation of a robust planning and performance framework
- Collaborate effectively with other charities in the health and social care space based in the UK and internationally
You Will Have:
- Senior leadership experience in complex organisations, and the ability to effectively influence at Board level
- Substantial experience of successfully managing budgets, individuals, and geographically dispersed teams
- The ability to translate strategic aims into tangible outcomes
- Knowledge and a good understanding of health and social care issues and structures across the UK
This is a full-time, hybrid role with an expected two days per-week in the office or in their communities with significant UK travel. The role is running for a period of 6 months.
