Starfish Search are working with a global membership charity to recruit an Interim Chief Operating Officer. They are seeking an experienced Interim Chief Operating Officer to work closely with the CEO to review, strengthen and oversee the operational functions of the charity.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Have responsibility for the overall operational running of the organisation
- Lead on planning, organisational effectiveness, membership relations and governance, including election of officers
- Develop a budgeted implementation plan and monitoring and reporting framework for the agreed strategy
- Develop, with the Chief Executive, strategies, policies and plans for consideration by the Trustees and Council
- Lead the resolution of implementation delays in their CRM platform
- Maintain a sound and progressive knowledge of the legal and compliance framework within which the organisation works
You Will Have:
- Experience of Leading the Governance and Operational functions of a non-profit organisation at Director level or above, preferably within a membership organisation
- Experience of working closely with Boards and Elected Members
- Sound knowledge of budgeting, monitoring and reporting frameworks
- Evidence of providing effective leadership during a period of change
This is a full-time role, running for a period of 12 months, with an expected salary of £90,000 – £100,000. It is based in central London and will require occasional international travel.
