Starfish is working with a Charity to recruit a Chief Executive.
It is an exciting opportunity to lead on all aspects of a Charity whilst the leader is on Maternity Leave.
THE ROLE
- About the role:
- You will be joining the organisation at a critical time, changes in policy and Brexit have had a significant impact on this charities work. You will be comfortable influencing public debate and decision-makers, acting as spokesperson for the charity where necessary as they seek to influence Party manifestos and mobilise public support
Responsibilities:
- To advise the Trustees on the strategy, policies, and effective organisational development of the charity
- Ensure the Board receives timely, accurate and proportionate information and advice to enable them to fulfil their responsibilities
- To manage the charity’s day to day operations and administration
- Manage the staff team according to good employment practice, and ensuring sustained, high levels of motivation and performance
- You must be an experienced fundraiser or had experience with broader income generation activities.
