Interim Chief Development Officer

Starfish Search are working with a global non-profit federation to recruit an interim Chief Development Officer. The focus of this role will be the planning, analysis and implementation of an organisation wide development project, ensuring operational effectiveness and aligning the organisations development efforts with its overall strategic goals.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Be responsible for driving the organisations growth, by identifying opportunities for growth and overseeing the implementation of development plans
- Support the CEO in ensuring colleagues, (potential) members and donors are on board with development plans
- Drive membership and income growth by overseeing the organisations marketing, engagement and recruitment
- Provide data-driven analysis of the market to identify and evaluate new opportunities, innovations, potential members and funding sources
You Will Have:
- Experience leading the business development, marketing or fundraising function of a complex organisation, ideally within the third sector
- The ability to form and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- A proven track record of achieving revenue growth targets
This is a fully remote role, running for a period of 12 months. It is offered on a fixed term contract 4 days/week, with a pro rata salary equivalent to approximately £90,000 FTE.
