Starfish Search are working with a UK non-profit organisation to recruit an Interim CEO. The main purpose of this role is to provide inspiring, commercially astute leadership to the organisation as it transitions from the outgoing CEO to the new, permanent appointee.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Be responsible for the overall management of the organisation and accountable to the Board of Trustees, who are responsible for setting the organisation’s strategy
- Ensure their operating model is financially robust and sustainable
- Optimise revenue growth in line with the organisation’s strategy and budget
- Ensure excellence in delivery and efficiency in the use of the organisation’s resources
- Build and inspire a proactive, high-performing team by cultivating a supportive culture, empowering people and fostering collaboration
You Will Have:
- Experience as a Chief Executive Officer of a non-profit organisation.
- Experience of embedding commercial practices and discipline in a charitable or not-for-profit environment
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of excellence in business development, sales and marketing strategy
- Broad understanding of the charity sector and its ethos including the regulatory responsibilities and governance that applies to charities
This role is running for a period of 6-9 months, starting by late-April. It is based on the South-Coast and offers hybrid working with ideally 2 days pw week in office. The salary for this role is ca.£120,000 plus benefits.
