Starfish Search are working with a Local Authority in the Northwest to recruit an Interim Assistant Director of Children and Families for an initial three-month period.

This role, reporting to the Director of Children, Families, and Education, will lead the delivery of children’s social care services, focusing on improving outcomes for children and families through high standards of practice. It includes leading the formulation, development, and implementation of social care and safeguarding strategies to meet the needs of children, young people, and families, as well as overseeing all Ofsted inspections and regulations related to safeguarding and managing the Council’s relationship with Ofsted as the regulatory body for these services.
