Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) is the independent charity responsible for the management of six royal palaces and their associated content and landscapes. We believe that our work is enriched by the involvement of a wide range of people and perspectives, so we want to work with a broad range of organisations and communities, to bring the story of the palaces to life.

THE ROLE

As our new Head of Information Technology, you have a transformational role to play in achieving this. Working closely with me, the Board of Trustees and leadership team colleagues, you will ensure we optimise technology as key enabler for HRP, supporting our digital roadmap and meeting our growing needs for new business solutions and the exploitation of new technologies such as AI.

We need an experienced senior leader and manager with a great track record of advising on, designing and delivering technology-led transformation strategies. You will bring strong change management experience and be a natural collaborator and strong communicator – someone will bring a business partnering approach, building trust and influence across the organisation as a critical friend and enabler to help us move forward. We are open to where you come from. You may already be in the wider cultural, heritage or visitor attraction space or in another customer driven sector where technology and digital engagement is critical to what it does. Whatever your sector background you will need to be a strong communicator with the confidence and energy to impact quickly across an organisation of our scale and complexity and at an important time for us.

If you believe you have what we are looking for, then we hope you will be inspired to find out more.  We are committed to increasing the diversity of our senior team and would particularly welcome applications that would help us achieve this aim.
