THE ROLE

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive and working as part of the Corporate Leadership Team, you will lead and develop a diverse portfolio including legal and democratic services, elections, information management and data governance and communications.

You will provide expert legal assurance, oversee constitutional compliance, and ensure the Council operates with transparency, accountability, and strong ethical standards. You will also represent the Council in legal proceedings where required and provide guidance to Members across the full breadth of Council business.
