Assistant Director, Quality Improvement: Children’s Services

Royal Borough of Greenwich
Greenwich, London
Up to £106,000
Hackney

Royal Greenwich is a borough synonymous with first class modern services. Our vibrant, diverse communities span Greenwich town centre in the west, to Thamesmead in the east, from the Greenwich Peninsula in the north to Eltham in the south. We are proud of our health, adult social care and children’s services and their respective workforces which respect the borough’s diversity and add richness, productivity and innovation to the services we deliver.

The Role

At Royal Greenwich we are determined to apply child-centred best practice to everything that we do. Building on our Good Ofsted rating, we are striving to embed organisational learning into every layer of the department, using data, evaluation and feedback from children and young people to continuously improve.

With a wide span of responsibility across the department including professional development, the Children’s Safeguarding Partnership, governance and complaints, and audit, research and practice improvement – your influence will be critical. You will ensure Greenwich’s Children’s Services lead the way in participation and engagement with children and their families and that the workforce is confident and prepared for statutory inspections.
