Executive Director, Environment and Communities

London Borough of Enfield
Enfield, London
circa £170,000
Hackney

Enfield is an outer London borough with big ambitions. We are increasingly one of the most diverse parts of London and the council is leading on some of the biggest regeneration programmes in the UK. We are attracting today’s makers and creators and have a growing reputation as a destination for the creative industries. Despite this, 30% of Enfield children live in poverty and many of our communities are increasingly reliant on our support.

THE ROLE

We are increasingly one of the most diverse parts of London and the council is leading on some of the biggest regeneration programmes in the UK. Our borough may be growing and changing but our commitment to delivering exceptional front-line services remains absolute. This is a brand new role on the Council’s corporate leadership team to deliver the services our residents feel most passionate about, achieving green flags for our parks and open spaces, strategic planning, enhancing our public realm and highways, and forging ahead with our net zero carbon ambitions.

A visible, responsive and inspirational leader, you will thrive on building relationships with our communities and elected members. Your passion for exceptional levels of customer service will set the bar for the whole of the organisation.
