THE ROLE

We are looking for a new Director of Strategic Commissioning and Integration who understands how good commissioning changes lives. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to drive forward integrated commissioning and transformation plans for adults across Cheshire East, delivering the best possible outcomes within the total resources available to the council and working with the people who draw on care and support.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will build on good health and care partnerships to develop innovative models of care to transform people’s lives as you help to transform the Council. As a great leader you will be able to articulate a clear and compelling vision for change, as a great commissioner you will identify the opportunities for improved outcomes, improved performance and improved value built on evidence and sound analysis.

Ultimately, this is about our communities and residents, and ensuring that we can offer them the excellent services and support they deserve as well as fully release the borough’s potential.
