Stoke-on-Trent City Council
Salary £111,136 to £116,521
Hackney

Stoke-on-Trent is a unique place, forged through its industrial past, built on layers of enterprise and craftsmanship, and with a strong sense of personal and collective identity.

As we move into the next stage of the transformation journey for our Adult Care Services following our recent ‘Good’ assessment, these roles will guide a motivated workforce in building on our strengths while addressing the areas highlighted for improvement to meet the needs of our residents.

THE ROLE

The Director of Adult Social Care will lead operational delivery across a portfolio of safeguarding, prevention, neighbourhood health and care, hospital pathways and provider services, driving quality and performance to support people to live independently. Working closely with elected members, council officers, health partners and other agencies, you will sit at the heart of a network developing integrated approaches to health and social care, promoting co-production, and building strategic alliances at local, regional, and national levels.

If you are a visionary leader with the ambition to make a tangible impact on this city, we’d love to hear from you.
