Starfish Search are working with a Local Authority in London to recruit a CQC Assurance Preparation Service Manager. The focus of this role will be to lead the council’s programme of change around CQC Assurance, under their establishing strategic governance/ transformation board.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Oversee quality assurance activities that will ensure that their services are strength-based, person-centred, of high quality and in line with CQC standards
- Ensure that a programme plan is in place in time for CQC inspection and peer review, whilst making sure that the established programme of work continues to be delivered
- Establish a Self-Assessment programme along with a comprehensive report, and action responses along with leaders colleagues and partners
- Ensuring that a programme of co-production, workshops, learning, briefings, communication and engagement takes place both internally, with frontline staff, leaders, colleagues and externally with partners
- Work closely with the Principal Social Worker to promote the completion of the post audit assurance to evidence the embedding of learning from QA activities
You Will Have:
- A detailed understanding of the statutory drivers and responsibilities of adult social care and health care
- An understanding of the current CQC Inspection Framework, and proactiveness to continue to update on this knowledge as the process progresses
- Strong programme management skills and a background in delivering complex programmes across a wide group of stakeholders
- Strong successful leadership, with the ability to lead, manage, mentor, and motivate staff
- The ability to manage challenging multi-agency relationships and able to balance operational, strategic, and political drivers astutely and sensitively
This is a hybrid role with an expected 3 days/week in office, running for up-to 12 months. The expected day-rate for this position is £450.
