Starfish Search are working with a Housing organisation linked to a local authority to recruit an Interim Managing Director.
THE ROLE
You Will
- Take overall responsibility for and be accountable to the Development and Investment Board and the Group Managing Director for, the management and performance of the development and investment companies.
- Grow the development role and reputation of the company, to enable to it to partner the Council on major development and regeneration schemes over the next 20 years.
- Ensure the high quality management of the investment portfolio and, oversee the development of in-house capacity to manage the portfolio.
- Provide leadership, influence, vision, challenge, direction and support across the business, adding value by providing advice
You Will Have
- Substantial experience and understanding of residential property development, regeneration, acquisition and management.
- Understanding of affordable housing markets, financing and its key client groups.
- Demonstrable commercial experience, expertise and acumen, including experience relevant to local authorities and trading companies.
- A detailed knowledge of the workings of local government and trading companies and the wider environment in which they operate.
This is a 6-month contract beginning in early July, it’s a hybrid role requiring 2-3 days per week in office.
