Interim Chief Finance and Operating Officer

Starfish Search are working with a large social care charity to secure them an Interim Chief Finance and Operating Officer. In this role you will be a senior member of the Executive Leadership Team, working closely with the CEO, you will be responsible and accountable for the implementation of the charity’s financial, technological and operational strategies.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Work closely with the CEO, Board and committees to ensure that the charity’s has a long-term financial strategy which aligns with their ambitions for delivery to the community
- Be responsible for ensuring that the technological transformation of the charity is delivered, in particular the replacement of the CRM
- Direct the charity’s strategic and business planning and performance by identifying and prioritising critical business issues and key projects
- Provide an effective framework for good governance and risk management
You Will Have:
- Proven experience as a high-performing director at board level, in an organisation of a comparative size
- A strong track record of driving forward and delivering strategic financial planning, performance, data and technology strategies
- Experience of managing complex cross directorate change programmes, governance and risk
- A relevant Degree or equivalent and, be a Qualified Accountant
This is a hybrid role based in London, with an expected time commitment of 35 hours per week. You will need to be available to start the role within the next few weeks and be available for interview on the 1st June.
