The Role

Our client, a small charity, are seeking an Interim Director of Finance for six months

Role Responsibilities…

ensure the effective strategic and operational financial management of the organisation which includes Maintaining oversight of the charity’s current budget
To support the effective corporate and project governance
To personally negotiate grants and contracts for new business
Act as company secretary for Charity Commission and Companies House on behalf of the board of trustees
Take a lead role in overseeing that the charity is fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements

You will…

Ideally be a qualified accountant
Have a demonstrable record of achievement in a similar role in a charitable, social enterprise, CIC or public sector organisation
Have experience of supporting organisational change, evaluating, integrating and/or reorganising systems
Have a successful track record of negotiating contracts and grants
