Starfish Search are working with a UK charity as it seeks an Interim HR Consultant to cover a period of maternity leave.
THE ROLE
This is an interim appointment of approximately seven months, working three days a week. Alongside business-as-usual HR for a small organisation. This is a senior advisory position at a significant moment for the organisation; a three-year strategy is underway that will reshape how the charity works, with investment in new technology and a redesign of the operating model both in progress.
The successful candidate will be comfortable covering the full scope of day-to-day HR: employee relations casework, policy, recruitment and onboarding, and the everyday conversations with staff about leave, pay and flexible working. Additionally, you will be providing senior change support to the leadership team. You will be a visible and trusted presence for staff through a period of uncertainty, and supporting managers in holding difficult conversations well.
You will bring a proven track record in organisational change in practice, not only advising on restructures, consultation, redundancy and redeployment, but running them too. Experience within the charity sector is desirable as is experience of change driven by technology.
This is an interim appointment of approximately seven months at three days per week, offering a day rate of circa. £500 per day Outside IR35.
