We are working with a leading international charity, as it strengthens its technology leadership at a pivotal moment. The organisation is midway through a major transformation programme and the charity is looking to appoint an experienced interim leader to provide technology direction and coordinate its role across this significant change.
You will be the most senior technology voice within the organisation. This is a leadership, coordination and line management role in need of someone who understands how technology functions operate and can bring structure, direction and cohesion.
A core part of the role is acting as the key point of coordination between the organisation and a wider transformation programme spanning multiple strategic workstreams. You will not be expected to represent the organisation across every element of this work, but you will hold the various threads together, working closely with senior transformation leadership to ensure alignment and effective engagement.
You will also lead the redesign of the organisation’s technology roadmap and strategy, and bring fresh thinking on innovation and modernisation, with awareness of target operating model approaches. Strong stakeholder management skills are essential, you will need to keep the SLT fully briefed on progress, particularly given the scale of change involved, and will build credible relationships with senior stakeholders across the organisation and beyond.
You will bring a strong senior technology background, proven experience leading enterprise technology and/or digital change, and a track record of leading large-scale transformation or organisational design programmes across multiple stakeholder groups
This is a 12-month interim assignment. Salary is circa £110,000.
