We are working with a charity in the social care sector, dedicated to supporting vulnerable people and strengthening the communities it serves. Following a broader organisational restructure, the charity is entering an exciting new chapter, welcoming a new Chair and recruiting a new Chief Executive, with much still to do to build capacity, resilience and impact for the future.
THE ROLE
We are seeking an Interim Director of People, Finance and Corporate Resources to provide strategic leadership across People, Finance and Corporate Resources, ensuring the charity has the financial resilience, systems, governance and organisational capability to deliver its strategy. As a core member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will act as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, leading a broad, multidisciplinary directorate spanning Finance, People & Culture, Corporate Services, Digital and Governance, bringing coherence and continuity across these interconnected functions during a period of significant change.
This is a senior interim leadership appointment, providing strategic direction and operational grip across People, Finance and Corporate Resources as the charity progresses its restructure and welcomes new leadership. You will bring a strong track record as a Finance Leader who has worked across a broad range of functions including HR, sound judgement in navigating complex and sensitive organisational change, experience of managing significant budgets, staff and multiple concurrent projects within a transformation and improvement environment, and the credibility and diplomacy to build effective relationships with trustees, the incoming Chair and CEO, and colleagues across the organisation.
This is a 6-month assignment starting by the 1st October. This role is predominantly remote, with 2 to 3 days per month in their office in London.
