We’re Prostate Cancer UK. We’re striving for a world where no man dies from prostate cancer.
Prostate cancer is now the most common cancer in men. More men than ever are living with the disease, and by 2035 we expect around one million men in the UK to be affected. We are proud of the difference we already make through our research, campaigning and support services but we know that continuing to do more of the same will not be enough. If we are to reach more men, invest in groundbreaking research, improve treatment, transform services and ultimately save more lives, we need to become a bigger, stronger and more influential organisation.
We have recently launched an ambitious ten-year strategy that builds on everything we have achieved to date while recognising that, if we are to create a world where no man dies from prostate cancer, we must think differently about how we grow our impact.
We are looking for an outstanding Director of Impact Partnerships and Philanthropy to help accelerate our ambition through strategic partnerships, philanthropy and sustainable income growth. This is a rare opportunity to build and lead a function that will become the organisation’s centre of expertise for strategic partnerships.
As a member of the Executive Leadership Team, you will lead the development and delivery of an ambitious five-year strategy that broadens and deepens relationships with major donors, philanthropists, corporate partners and foundations. You will redefine how the charity approaches modern philanthropy, creating innovative partnerships that generate shared value while increasing both impact and income.
