Starfish Search are supporting a local authority in North England to appoint an Interim Head of IT to lead a critical phase of IT transformation.

This role will focus on shaping the IT strategy, stabilising core services, and leading transformation across systems, infrastructure, and digital capability to better support organisational priorities and service delivery.

You’ll bring a strong track record in IT leadership, transformation, and change within local government or similarly complex environments. Experience of modernising legacy systems, supplier management, and engaging senior stakeholders will be essential, alongside excellent communication skills.
