The Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust is the lead provider of mental health and learning disability services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire, supporting children, adults, and older people. Care is provided in the community, in our clinics, inpatient wards and through our crisis services. We also provide children’s paediatric services, and through our Starting Well Partnership we deliver a range of ‘early years’ support including health visiting and school health nursing in conjunction with our voluntary sector and council partners.
Our Trust is entering a period of significant change and opportunity. We are committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care, making the best use of our resources, working in partnership to support neighbourhood health, and harnessing the power of digital innovation.
Our new Director of Patient Experience, Digital and Innovation will be central to enabling our transformation. This is a dynamic and transformative role within an organisation providing mental health and community services across Herefordshire and Worcestershire.
You will play a key role in shaping and leading our digital strategy, ensuring our systems and services are efficient, effective, and aligned with national standards, while supporting staff and patients in a digital-first environment. As we set out our vision and objectives to 2030, you will play a pivotal role in turning strategy into action. This includes leading work to tackle health inequalities, ensuring our services are inclusive, equitable, and reflective of the diverse communities we serve. You will also be instrumental in driving service development, strengthening performance and informatics, overseeing information governance, and fostering strong partnerships with colleagues, patients, carers, and the VCSE sector.
We are looking for an ambitious and strategic leader with a proven record in complex healthcare settings; someone who is able to translate strategic vision into operational delivery. You will champion co-production, innovation, and continuous improvement, while building positive working relationships across multi-professional teams. Above all, you will model compassionate, inclusive, and accountable leadership for a new directorate, inspiring others to achieve their potential and deliver the best possible outcomes for patients.
