Hackney is proud of its track record in delivering high-quality and award winning new homes that meet the needs of our residents. We are now seeking a new Assistant Director of Housing Regeneration and Delivery to drive forward one of the most ambitious housing programmes in the capital.

THE ROLE

In this pivotal leadership role, you’ll oversee a multi-million-pound housing delivery portfolio that will deliver thousands of affordable homes. Reporting to the Director of Regeneration, Economy and Housing Development, you will lead a team of around 35 staff across housing delivery, design, engagement, construction and commercial services. You will have the vision and commercial acumen to unlock complex development schemes while embedding community-centred placemaking and delivering real social value for Hackney’s residents.

We are looking for a creative, collaborative and strategic leader with significant senior experience in housing regeneration or development. You’ll bring knowledge of housing delivery, managing complex capital programmes and working with a diverse range of partners, from residents and community groups to developers and government bodies. You’ll share our passion for inclusive growth, excellent design and sustainability.
