Lancashire County Council is the fourth largest in the UK, spanning fourteen districts covering an enormous geographic area with a fantastic mix of both urban and rural communities. We’re here to serve the people of Lancashire to ensure they live independent lives for as long as possible.
Lancashire are seeking a new Director of Finance & Commerce (Deputy S151), reporting to the Executive Director for Resources with a dotted line to the Chief Executive and forming part of our Executive Leadership Team. This is a critical role leading Lancashire’s entire finance service.
You will provide high quality professional advice on all matters related to the financial functions of the council whilst also providing strategic leadership and direction to finance and procurement services.
A track record of outstanding financial management and governance is a given but your desire to collaborate internally and externally will set you apart as a Director in Lancashire.
