Haringey offers the very best of London: diversity, heritage, culture and pioneering placemaking schemes. These are exciting times for the borough, and the council is hugely ambitious for its residents and communities.
This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking inner London council at a pivotal time. We are tackling the pressing issues of affordability, homelessness, and housing standards, ensuring a better environment for our communities. Our focus on ‘people power’ is a cornerstone of the Haringey Deal, emphasising meaningful engagement with our communities.
Over the last year Haringey has embarked on a journey of transformation and change. We have established a detailed housing improvement plan, making considerable progress in improving the quality of our 20,000 homes.
As the Assistant Director for Asset Management, you will play a crucial role in continuing the momentum of change, managing the council’s housing asset management and investment strategy and overseeing housing investment programmes of £650m over seven years to ensure the council’s homes are compliant with all relevant regulations and standards.
For this newly created role, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to deliver on Haringey’s corporate plan to create a safe, sustainable, and affordable home for everyone. You will be experienced in large scale capital works delivery, social housing asset management and contract management. If you are passionate about transforming housing services and have the drive to deliver exceptional results, we want to hear from you.
