Starfish Search are working with a London based Charity to recruit an Interim Chief Programmes Officer (maternity cover). The focus of the role is to operate as a member of the senior leadership team, overseeing the delivery of national programmes.
THE ROLE
You Will:
- Play a lead role in the charity’s Senior Leadership Team, working closely with the Director of Programmes and Delivery to lead the Senior Operations Team
- Take an active role in implementing the organisation’s current business plan
- Ensure that all country-wide hubs are working effectively and delivering the programmes specified in the organisation’s business plan
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with current delivery partners and ensure high standards of engagement and reporting where required
- Act as line manager for a team of Senior Operational staff who manage key areas of the charity
You Will Have:
- Substantial experience in a senior operations role within a non-profit organisation
- Strong project management and strategic decision making experience
- Experience of stakeholder management and Board reporting
- Knowledge and experience of safeguarding best practice
This role is running for a period of eight months, it is offered either full-time or four days/week. The salary for this role is £80,000 – £85,000.
